What Is It?
Text2Resume is a job application tracker and AI resume builder. Users track applications, save job postings, find hiring managers via LinkedIn search, and manage contacts in one place. The AI agent, Rezzy, edits resumes through natural conversation instead of menus or templates.
How It Works
Rezzy has 42 specialized tools organized into categories:
- Content tools (31): Add, update, remove, and reorder every resume section. Experience bullets, education, certifications, projects, skills. Full control over what the resume says.
- Layout tools (6): Typography (20+ fonts, sizes 8-48px, weights 100-900 per element), colors (name, section titles, contact, accent, dividers), backgrounds (none/full/half/header fills), spacing (section gaps, bullet spacing, margins in inches), layouts (single/two-column, header alignment, skill badges vs comma-separated).
- Research tools (3): LinkedIn people search to find hiring managers, company research for culture and tech stack, web search for job postings. All powered by Exa AI semantic search.
- Context tools (2): When Rezzy needs more info, it shows a structured input form with options. Multi-select or free text. User input feeds the next edit.
Every tool call appears as a preview card in the chat. Users see exactly what will change, preview it live on the resume, then click accept or reject. Batch actions let users preview all pending changes at once. Nothing modifies the resume until approved.

Text2Resume was built as a Creddle alternative after it shut down in December 2024. Same philosophy: fine-grained layout control, clean exports, no forced templates. But with AI that helps users write better bullets instead of polishing them into generic corporate speak. The goal is specificity over polish.
