What Is It?
Audaxic Memory is a persistent memory layer for coding agents. Coding agents forget everything between sessions — preferences, conventions, and hard-won project decisions vanish with each new chat. Audaxic extracts those facts automatically and recalls them when relevant, so agents pick up where they left off instead of starting blank. Its unique selling points: the cheapest pricing in the category (up to 50% less than Mem0, flat monthly billing from $0, no per-token fees), one shared memory across all your tools (switching agents never resets context), and zero ops on managed edge infrastructure.
How It Works
When your agent works, Audaxic extracts meaningful facts from the conversation using production-grade extraction models, stores them as vector embeddings with project-scoped isolation, and retrieves them via hybrid semantic plus keyword search with relevance scoring. Plugins auto-save conversations and inject relevant memories into prompts; every memory carries timestamps and similarity scores. Your data is isolated per organization, stored in the US and EU, and never used for training.
Use Cases
- A developer tells their agent once to use bun, dark mode, or a specific test command — and never repeats it.
- Long-running projects where architectural decisions must survive weeks of sessions and context compactions.
- Teams switching between Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode mid-project without losing context.
- CI pipelines that spin up preview projects and tear them down programmatically.
- Recovering months of past chat history into searchable memory when adopting the tool.
Products
- REST API — simple endpoints (/add, /search, /list, /update, /delete) with per-project API keys and multi-project workspaces.
- Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode plugins — one-command installs with automatic saving and context injection.
- MCP server (memory-mcp.audaxic.com/mcp) — connects Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop, and any MCP-compatible client.
- History importer (@audaxic/memory-import) — migrates past conversations with correct timestamps, safe to re-run.
- Dashboard — projects, workspaces, API keys, scoped auth tokens, billing, and usage meters.
- Scoped auth tokens — programmatic management access with granular read/write permissions per workspace.
Accessibility and Developer Options
The dashboard is a standard web application that works with keyboard navigation and screen readers via semantic HTML. For developers: full REST API with cURL, JavaScript, and Python examples, an MCP server, npm-distributed plugins and CLI tools, scoped API tokens, and step-by-step documentation with a 5-minute quickstart.
Third-Party Integrations
One-command plugins for Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode; MCP support for Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop, and any MCP-compatible client; billing and checkout via Polar (powered by Stripe); infrastructure on Cloudflare's edge network.
API Options
Two credential types: ak_… API keys for storing and searching memories (data plane at api.memory.audaxic.com), and at_… auth tokens for managing projects and keys programmatically (management plane at memory-api.audaxic.com, with granular projects:read/write and keys:read/write scopes). Docs, examples, and a free Hobby tier (10,000 adds, 1,000 retrievals monthly, no card) make integration testable in minutes.
Browser Extensions
None currently — Audaxic is used via API, editor plugins, MCP, and the web dashboard. No browser extension is required for any feature.
Compatibility
Any operating system or device with HTTPS access: the API works from any programming language, the npm packages require Node 18+, and the dashboard runs in any modern browser. No local infrastructure, cloud accounts, or DevOps needed.
Community
Users can follow development and get support via X (@AudaxicTech (https://x.com/AudaxicTech)), GitHub (Audaxic (https://github.com/Audaxic)), the documentation site, and direct email (hello@audaxic.com) — with personal support from the solo developer behind the product.
Company
Audaxic is an independent, solo-founded company with one mission: make persistent agent memory accurate and affordable for everyone, not just enterprises. Its flagship product, Audaxic Memory, competes on price (up to 50% below Mem0), quality (88% ConvoMem, 81% LoCoMo), and developer experience (5-minute setup, flat pricing, no overages).
