Blinkimg is a free image compressor and converter for JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and HEIC: it compresses 50 images at once to an exact KB size, with an API.

The web tool takes up to 50 images at a time, 30 MB each on the free plan, and needs no account. Each file can be compressed in its own format, converted to JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, resized, or held under a size in kilobytes that the user sets. The size target is a hard limit: the engine searches the quality first and then the pixel dimensions, and it never returns a file above the number. iPhone HEIC photos are read directly.

Beside the compressor sit an editor for cropping, rotating, colour, text and redaction, a converter that turns a batch into one PDF, and a page analyzer that measures how much image weight a web page could save.

Developers use the same engine through a REST API with an OpenAPI description, and AI agents through an MCP server. Every account receives 500 API credits a month; a compression costs 1 credit and a conversion 2. Paid plans start at $2.50 a month.

Uploaded files are deleted within 24 hours, and location data is stripped from outputs by default. Blinkimg was founded in 2026 by Sahadat Husain.
