What Jeena Platform is
Jeena is an eye tracking platform for short-form video. It gives creators, marketers, and agencies a real focus group for a short video before they publish it. You upload a vertical video (a Reel, TikTok, or YouTube Short, up to 120 seconds), and Jeena shows it to a panel of
5 to 10 real people who watch it on their own phones with the front camera on. Instead of predicting attention with a model, Jeena measures it: real human gaze, tracked frame by frame.
The problem it solves
Every short-video creator has the same blind spot. Platform analytics tell you when viewers dropped off, but never what they were looking at when they decided to leave, or which parts of the frame they never noticed at all. View counts, retention curves, and
engagement rates
describe the verdict without the reasons. That is the gap Jeena fills: eye tracking for short videos that shows, second by second, where real viewers' attention actually went, so you can stop guessing why a video flopped and see it.
How it works
There is no lab, no hardware, and no scheduling. You send a video; a panel of real viewers watches it naturally on their phones; and front-camera, computer-vision gaze estimation reconstructs where each person looked, frame by frame. Jeena aggregates the panel into a single report and returns it, with concrete fixes, within three days.
What you get in the report
Every test returns a full attention report:
- Attention heatmap: a frame-by-frame overlay of where the panel's gaze concentrated, so you see the loudest elements in every scene.
- Visibility map: the inverse view that dims whatever nobody looked at, the fastest way to catch the product shot, caption, or call to action that went completely unseen.
- Wow-moments timeline: reaction peaks built from eyebrow-raise detection, marking the exact seconds viewers genuinely reacted, and revealing where an intended big moment passed in silence.
- Perception summary: how viewers felt about the video and how it came across, captured in their gaze analysis and short post-watch survey.
- AI recommendations: three concrete, timestamped fixes to make the video work harder, the kind of precise note you can hand a creator instead of a vague "re-do."
Which videos it is built for
Jeena is designed for vertical short-form video: eye tracking for TikTok, eye tracking for Instagram Reels, eye tracking for YouTube Shorts and eye tracking for any other platform. It is built around the way these videos are actually watched, on a phone, in seconds, with the swipe always one thumb-move away, which is why where the eye lands in the first moment decides so much.
Who it is for and how it is used
- Creators testing a hook or a full video before posting.
- Marketing teams and DTC brands running pre-publish creative testing on UGC and ad creative before they spend a dollar on media.
- Agencies who want to hand a client a precise, data-backed fix, and who can deliver Jeena's report as their own branded, white-label audit.
- Content coaches reviewing student videos with real attention data.
In short, Jeena is a modern, affordable alternative to focus groups for short video and to expensive neuromarketing labs.
What our research has found
Jeena's own eye-tracking studies (hundreds of viewing sessions across real short videos) surface patterns that shape every report. The clearest is the attention paradox: the videos people watch most intently are frequently the ones they like least, because hard watching signals effort, not enjoyment. Backgrounds routinely out-collect faces for on-screen attention, and in one audit 62% of videos had a fixable attention leak invisible in any analytics dashboard. These are the kinds of findings a Jeena report surfaces about your specific video.
What makes it different
- Measured, not predicted: real human gaze, not an AI heatmap simulation.
- Phone-native, not lab-bound: viewers watch on their own phones in a natural setting, the same context your audience uses.
- Affordable and fast: it replaces four-figure neuromarketing lab studies with a test that costs about ten euros and returns within three days.
Pricing
- Free: run a private test by bringing your own viewers.
- Pay-per-video: EUR 10 per video, no subscription.
- Agency (from EUR 500/month): 10 video audits per month (rollover up to two), white-label
branded reports, priority support with a dedicated manager, and optional API access.
