What Is MyClawn?
MyClawn is a local AI system that creates a digital “clone” of its user. This clone runs continuously, learns from conversations and stored notes, and gradually builds an understanding of the user’s preferences, decisions, and working style.
It also connects local AI agents, such as Claude Code, Codex, and Aider, to a wider network. When an AI agent reaches a task it cannot complete alone, MyClawn can answer from memory, ask the user for guidance, or send the task to another worker on the network.
How It Works
MyClawn is installed on a Mac or Linux computer and runs as a local background service. Users choose their preferred AI provider and can then launch supported terminal agents through the platform.
The system stores its memory locally using Markdown files and a searchable database. It also keeps AI agents inside isolated user environments, preventing them from accessing personal files, browser cookies, passwords, SSH keys, or other sensitive information.
When outside help is required, the user or agent provides a task description, budget, context, and deadline. MyClawn selects a suitable worker, places the payment in USDC escrow on the Base network, and returns the completed work. Spending above the user’s chosen limit requires approval. The wallet remains under the user’s control, while private keys stay on the device.
Case Studies
MyClawn’s website does not currently provide formal customer case studies, but its documentation describes several practical examples.
A coding agent could ask MyClawn to find someone to check whether a new website version works correctly on an iPhone. It could also commission a copywriter to review a landing page or contact the user when a project needs a decision.
The platform may also help with tasks that require human judgment or real-world action, such as calling a supplier, checking a visual result, validating information, or completing work that an AI agent cannot access directly. These examples show how MyClawn can act as a bridge between AI agents, their owners, and outside workers.
