What Is a .QBO File?
A .qbo file is a bank transaction file used by QuickBooks. It contains account activity such as deposits and withdrawals, but it is not a full accounting backup.
QuickBooks can read this type of file, but Excel cannot. QBOtoExcel solves that problem by turning the transaction data into a normal spreadsheet.
How the Converter Works
The process is simple. Users upload a .qbo file, run the conversion, and download the result.
The tool reads the transaction records inside the file and pulls out useful information such as the date, transaction type, amount, payee, memo, transaction ID, and account details.
