How It Works
The process begins when the user uploads a base resume and enters the type of position they are looking for. For each selected job, the platform can rewrite resume sections, add relevant keywords, improve bullet points, and prepare a matching cover letter. The user can review and edit everything before using it.
Resumly also provides two application methods. Its cloud-based Autopilot can submit supported applications in the background, while the Chrome extension can fill application forms directly in the user’s browser. With the extension, the user can review the completed form and personally click the final submit button.
After an application is sent, the tracker keeps the job, resume version, and current status together. The platform can also classify recruiter emails as interview invitations, rejections, offers, or follow-ups. When an interview is scheduled, Resumly can generate role-specific questions and provide feedback on recorded answers.

Resumly is mainly a web-based platform, so it can be accessed through a modern browser without installing full desktop software. The optional Chrome extension adds a side panel and action buttons to job pages.
From the extension, users can tailor a resume, check their match score, save a vacancy, or begin autofilling an application. It supports major job boards and applicant tracking systems, including LinkedIn, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, BambooHR, and others.
