What is it?
Taromi is an AI-powered tarot reading platform that lets people explore personal questions by drawing tarot cards online. It combines traditional tarot meanings with artificial intelligence to give users readings based on their own questions and situations.
The platform is designed for both beginners and people who already enjoy tarot. It covers common subjects such as relationships, career choices, personal challenges, and everyday decisions. Instead of giving users a list of general card meanings, Taromi explains how each card relates to the question they asked.
One of the main advantages is that users don't need to own a tarot deck or understand how to read the cards. Everything happens online, and the AI takes care of the interpretation.
Taromi is mainly intended for entertainment and personal reflection. Its readings are not meant to predict the future or replace professional advice.
How it works?
Using Taromi is fairly simple. Users start by choosing a tarot spread and asking a question in their own words. For example, someone might ask what they should consider before changing jobs or how to deal with a difficult friendship.
Next, they draw their cards from a shuffled virtual deck. Taromi uses the traditional 78-card tarot deck, and cards can appear upright or reversed, just as they would in a physical reading.
Once the cards have been drawn, the AI explains their meanings and how they connect to the user's question. Each card has a different role depending on its position in the spread.
For example, a three-card reading might look at the past, present, and possible direction of a situation. More detailed spreads can explore challenges, outside influences, and possible outcomes.
Users can also ask follow-up questions to explore their readings further.
Taromi offers one free reading per day without registration and three daily readings with a free account. Its Premium plan starts at $9.99 per month and includes up to 30 daily readings, more detailed interpretations, and additional features.
Features Highlights
Taromi includes several reading options and extra tools for people who want to explore tarot in different ways.
Different Tarot Spreads: Users can choose from simple one-card readings, three-card readings, relationship spreads, decision readings, and the more detailed Celtic Cross. Some spreads are designed for beginners, while others explore more complicated questions.
Personalized AI Readings: Rather than providing the same explanation for everyone, Taromi considers the user's question, the cards drawn, and their positions. This makes each reading more relevant to the situation being explored.
Five AI Readers: Taromi offers five reading personalities with different approaches. The Magician focuses on practical advice, while The Fool takes a more playful approach. Premium members can also choose The Empress, The High Priestess, or the more direct Queen of Swords.
Daily Tarot Readings: Users can draw a personal card for the day and receive an interpretation based on their daily concerns. There is also a separate Card of the Day feature that does not count toward the daily reading limit.
Deep Readings: Premium users can receive more detailed explanations that look at how cards relate to one another, including their symbols, elements, and overall message.
Reading Journal: Registered users can keep their previous readings in a personal journal and return to them later. Premium members can also enable memory, allowing the AI reader to consider earlier conversations when answering new questions.
Tarot Learning Resources: The website includes guides to all 78 tarot cards, explanations of different spreads, and lessons for people interested in learning how tarot works.
Another useful feature is privacy control. Readings are private unless users decide to share them, and shared links do not reveal the original question unless the user allows it.
Compatibility
Taromi is a web-based platform that works through an internet browser, so there is no need to install special software or own a physical tarot deck.
It can be accessed from computers, smartphones, and tablets, making it convenient for users who want to draw cards at home or while traveling.
The website supports English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian, allowing people from different countries to use the service in their preferred language.
Taromi also provides a free MCP connector for compatible AI assistants, including Claude and certain ChatGPT configurations. This allows users to draw tarot cards and access card meanings through supported AI applications.
The standard reading service is available directly through the Taromi website, while some advanced features require registration or a Premium subscription.
Case Studies
Taromi provides examples of how its readings work, although published customer case studies with verified results are not currently available. Its website demonstrates several everyday situations where tarot can be used for personal reflection.
Making a Major Life Decision
One example on Taromi's website involves someone who keeps delaying a move to another city. The person uses a three-card reading to explore what might be holding them back.
The reading looks at past experiences, current worries, and possible ways forward. Rather than telling the person whether moving is right or wrong, it offers another way to think about their concerns.
Dealing With Relationship Problems
Another example involves two friends who have stopped speaking after an argument. Taromi uses the Five of Wands, Two of Swords, and Three of Cups to explore the conflict and the possibility of rebuilding the friendship.
The Premium interpretation goes further by explaining how the cards connect and suggesting a practical next step, such as reaching out with a simple message.
Starting a New Job
Taromi's learning section also includes an example involving someone preparing for a new job. The reading uses The Fool card to explore new beginnings, uncertainty, and the importance of staying open to new experiences.
These examples show how Taromi can help users look at familiar problems from another angle. The readings don't provide guaranteed answers, but they can give people something useful to think about before making their own decisions.
