Xingge: Purple Star Astrology - Zi Wei Dou Shu birth charts, read in plain modern English

What is it? Xingge is a Zi Wei Dou Shu app in English. Zi Wei Dou Shu, also called Purple Star Astrology, is a Chinese system that places more than a hundred stars into twelve palaces from your date and hour of birth, and uses them to describe your character, your work, your relationships, and how life tends to shift over each decade.

How it works: enter your birth details and Xingge draws your chart the way the classical Zi Wei Dou Shu Quan Shu describes it. It converts your birth time to local time, removes daylight saving, and can use true solar time. Every reading line was checked against the original text: we say what the classics say, then, separately, what that tends to mean today. Readings describe tendencies, not fixed outcomes.

Use cases: understand your own chart, see what this decade, year, month and day emphasise for you, compare two charts, and learn to read a chart yourself.

Products: the chart, readings for all twelve palaces, a daily outlook and Ask (AI questions about your own chart, 3 free a week) are free. Optional AI-written books (your life by decade, a year ahead, two charts together, life advice) are one-time purchases.

Compatibility: works in any modern browser on phone or desktop, plus an Android app. Available in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

Company: built by Intellizab LLC, a small team of developers and Zi Wei Dou Shu readers, launched in 2026.
